"Natural Harmony" We are the BluesTones, an all female a cappella group at James Madison University. Students Susie Gaskins and Laurie Wright founded this group in February of 1999, and we certainly have come a long way since! We rehearse regularly, arrange our own music, and perform at an array of events and fundraisers on and off campus. Beyond JMU, the BluesTones have toured extensively on the East Coast, performing alongside many fellow a cappella groups including the Springstreeters from Williams College, Juxtaposition from Virginia Tech, and the Hulabahoos from the University of Virginia. We have recorded four CD's so far: Just a Little Bit, DejaBlue and On The Rocks. Our newest CD, No Apologies, was just recently released in January 2008. We're always working on learning and recording new material, and specialize in popular music from oldies to present day.
